Thanks to ongoing revelations about our athletic heroes – none of them good – I wouldn’t be surprised if we eventually learn that baseball’s Iron Horse, Lou Gehrig, was actually a jerk. Mickey Mantle, Babe Ruth … not guys you’d want to meet your mother.
